So I got lucky... and was able to have a once in a lifetime experience...

ok. honestly. i don't think it'll be 'once in a lifetime' only because i think they will win it again next year!
but what a great opportunity to be at the game winning game of the world series.... where my team. my boys... my lovely phillies.. win the world fucking championship. i am finally sobering up, and able to take some time out and post some pictures and share some from the experience....

hopefully they're in chronological order.. but i can't promise anything. i had to delete a few here and there that were horribly blurry because.. um. yeah. i might have been drunk.....

Step one. train.... to the stadiums. it was crowded. but we were excited... :) (this is harris, the one who i owe all the credit to for taking me to the game.... thanks harris!!!!!)

this boy had a beer on the train. brilliant! and no, he didn't want any nerds.... mmm nerds.

they had a party outside the stadium.. beers food.. bands.. balloons!

finally we met up with joce and headed inside... look at that... we're at the fucking world series!!!!

and all of us!!!

home sweet home.. yeah... we were a little early. ;)

once we got to the upper levels.. we were lucky. couldn't make it through these people... woah.

oh but we came back... with a fresh set of rally towels...

tonight we are the 3 luckiest people in the world...

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH and it's over. just like that.. and then they gave a car to cole... like baseball players need free cars.. oh man.

and we take to the streets... that's a statue.. covered by people.

people taking their clothes of... because.. it's warm out.. um.. right

so many people on broad street.. it was closed down and impossible to get anywhere.
i really think it was worse than times square for new years...

climbing on buildings...

why you'd drive your expensive car through this..is beyond me.

especially after seeing this. haha

so one of my pet peeves... when people on the el (the subway in philly i take to work) sit on an outside seat, where the inside seat is open. i don't care if you are getting off soon, stand. i don't care if you have to make someone get up.. it's not really allowing people to sit in places. i never approach them and ask to sit inside, because their body language is giving me a feeling of conflict if i do. so i don't. and i choose to either stand, or take another seat. they have to know this if they're sitting like that on purpose. so that annoys me a lot.

also. the people that are on the inside seat... but don't really say excuse me. or they whisper it to move. even if you slowly slightly get up to show me you're leaving. i'll let you out. but communicate with me please.

i think that communication is in huge defecit really. and hopefully it won't go with the economy. ha.

Senate Passes Matthew Shepard Act

     The U.S. Senate passed the Matthew Shepard Act today. The Act expands federal hate crime laws to include the commission of violent crimes based on the victim's sexual orientation, gender identity, gender, and disability, and provides new resources to help law enforcement prosecute such crimes.

     The act passed by a voice vote. Its companion legislation in the House of Representatives is the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act, which passed the House with a vote of 237 to 180. The legislation is supported by a strong contingent of organizations, including the National Sheriffs Association, the International Association of Chiefs of Police, the National District Attorneys Association, the Episcopal Church of the U.S., the League of Women Voters, and the United Methodist Church.

     George W. Bush has called the legislation "unnecessary," and is threatening to veto it.

1.Did you pee right after you woke up this morning? i did, and then i got back into bed. i like to beat laura's roommates to the bathroom, and still have time to cuddle with her.
2.Did you eat a healthy breakfast? coffee and bagel. not healthy. not unhealthy
3.Did you brush your teeth for atleast 5 minutes? woah. that's a long time tiger. not this morning.

small highlight of the weekend....

laura and i were driving down to DC, and she had to take a call of a friend she hadn't heard from..
and you could tell there was the normal 'how are you?'

and she responded with.. 'amazing. driving down to dc to see ani with my girlfriend..'

some words. can be so ridiculously powerful.

and giddy creating. ha.
